The decisive section is where she addresses the hypo about an "alt right guy" wanting to join the union. PMC unions are mostly guild-cliques so this question makes perfect sense to them and is in fact an area of huge concern (and potential for consulting jobs)

There's a hybridized Marxism that takes this into account at the expense of solidarity, the idea being that labor in certain societies is *inherently* corrupted by particularistic demands. This has been the predominant strain of non-trotskyite 'Marxism' for decades
