This is less consequential, but in retrospect, I think the first warning sign was the way he threw Jeremiah Wright under the bus.
My turning point was when he picked Hillary for secstate. The entire point of the exercise had been to try to keep her away from those levers! Al Digiorno, at the time a prominent Obama blogger, was crestfallen.
