      i realized pretty early on that Ledger's Joker performance was a act of survival to give that character some substance to intrigue the audience because the writers didn't do a very good job of it.

      I realized on my second viewing that the line where Joker says he's an anarchist is supposed to represent the truth of his character and at that moment I knew Zizek was right about the film
