Taxation is an afterthought. We need changes at the point of production, to radically rethink the direction of the financialisation of the economy, the rent seeking, the fact that workers have no power. Mere redistribution after the fact won't work politically.
It's too bad this strategy somehow comes across as antithetical to every other socialist policy. I don't think it's just due to guys like Jehu are belligerent about it either.
