These are new-lib cultural free spaces that sound nice and cost nothing. If these are your 'traps,' the heart of the disagreement is whether springing them will have the effect the DNC intends. I don't think it would.

Consider that Sanders *has to* spring at least two similar traps: reparations and open borders. That will undermine the dance he does around race and immigration. Instead, he could directly associate with the boogeymen and let the leftlibs make all the inferences they want.

We collectively expect - or at least hope - he'll be free to do this in the general. My bet is he could do it in the primary as well. Breaking the cultural coalition will change politics in the US permanently. It'll be chaos. It should happen ASAP.
