      I just think that in 99 percent of situations, applying the term "commodity fetish" is a cop out. It's a bizarre and arcane metaphysical concept that Marx throws into a mostly unrelated chapter and then never really explains. There's something to it but it's not a misperception

          For example if you see the commodity fetish in Zizek, he's about to say some shit that basically doesn't make any sense unless you have a philosophy postgrad or extensive knowledge of Hegel
