She's in the house who need her to seem like the radical rejuvenation of their party. Supporting sanders now, when the damage is *already* done, helps secure that, and her own perception as a radical.
The immediate problem with the people she represents is that they've been fucking with Sanders' chances in the primary. All we need them to do is shut the fuck up and get out of the way until the general, then they can push him however they see fit when their leverage is gone.
