If you’re seeing Bernie Sanders fundraising totals and still believing poll numbers you’re daft.

This was the exact same argument Ron Paul supporters made in 2008 and 2012 after his legendary money bombs and that doesn’t make me feel good.

Paul supporters were delusional. Also consider how the polls worked and were totally off in 2016.

Also, about 20-30% of Bernie supporters are former Paul supporters so be careful who you shit on.

Laugh all you want but don’t shit on people who just want legal weed and are tired of war and go with what they see as the most viable route to accomplish those goals. A lot of those people have migrated to Yang and Gabbard but they’re still around.

People who called themselves libertarian in 07 call themselves socialist now? Yeah, that checks out

Go into the Chapo Trap House subreddit, search Ron Paul and you’ll find plenty of people ashamed of their past. More importantly, ending wars and legal weed isn’t strictly owned by a political ideology and Paul/Sanders are the two most prominent champions of that ideology.

US libertarianism has always been a bit of a revolving door anyway - people would sign on before realizing what the policy positions were re libraries, the fire department etc. A lot of the people who were fighting that war in the mid 00s went liberal/left after 08

Yes, that’s my entire point. A lot of libertarians, especially the younger ones, are thisclose to getting it so telling them they’re not cool enough to eat at the cool kid’s table is just dumb.

Yeah sorry, I was just taking a cheap shot to begin with. The libertarian impulse isn't really all that bad if you divorce it from the free marketeering.
