My problem isn't, and never has been, with the word "reparations". If reparations means that black Americans own the country to the extent that they constitute the country, I'm all for that. My problem is with reparations conceived as a historical debt to be paid.
If you're doing the ADOS route - which will leave many later immigrants disappointed, why not the Somalis, what of Liberians - you'll need exhaustive genealogical data which the government doesn't have and you need a blood quantum. It's insane that liberals claim to want this.

So how is it that the government can figure out who's black when it's time to harm us but magically they can't do it when it's time to pay us for suffering 250+ years of abuse?

I've noticed that you backed off your assertion that the government has an exhaustive list of black people in the US. Is that because they don't?
