It's rather difficult to have such a convo without it becoming a "who's life is shitier debate". That debate is largely counterproductive,with rich whites like Trump laughing all the way to the bank while we have it. What's actionable? Needs to be the question of the day.

That's correct. But you do have reason to "support" them if supporting them is the only way to support yourself - because your interests are the same, because you are in the same class. You don't have to kiss them, but you can't purge them. You will end up with a party of one.
