The entire point for these people should be that the milquetoast shit Bernie proposes is actually *just as impossible* as nationalizing Amazon, setting minimum wage on imports, closing all military bases. Can't just say electoralism is pointless and have people take it on faith.

Like, if you can get m4a in America, you have so fundamentally changed society it's no longer clear what is or isn't possible anymore. But it's normal everywhere else. You can't think people will overlook that second part, not think "why not here." Sanders can show them why not.

I'm referring to the idea that once we buy off US workers with entitlements "we" can continue massacring Asian factory workers and abandon any pretense of class struggle. That's a big lurking fear for the Anglo "left" and it amounts to "if they're not starving they won't revolt"
