It could be I'm overextrapolating from my online experience but Maoism is basically a brain parasite that rules out mass politics in the core because of the degeneracy of the oppressor nation. To be fair this made a lot of sense in the 80s and in 2004 Anglosphere

It makes a lot of sense from two important angles: settler chauvinism (probably real but historically contingent) and the obvious moral disconnect of the wage differential between first and third world. But it's paralytic. It offers no actionable advice to anyone.

I'm not the one drawing a line around the "bad kind" of worker and aligning their interest with Donald Trump. If having a union and getting paid directly out of the coffers of the settler state doesn't make you a labor aristocrat... What does?

Yeah... It excludes the bourgeoisie. Duh. Who do you think makes up the first world masses? It's home health aides, nurses, social workers, cashiers, teachers, line cooks and customer service reps. You know, Bernie's constituency.
