Yeah sure, they complain about concentration camps but the solution is always to make the guards wear pink. The reality is that popular opinion is turning against the racist status quo, and like social democracy, they're getting on board with it.
I'll do you one better: it's a belief invented by the US ruling class. It specifically arose to justify slavery in the face of democratic reforms of the federal government. It served their interests as the ruling class. It did metastasize, but in Germany, almost a century ago.

The remaining formal vestiges of white supremacy were done for after the Civil Rights Movement. The ruling class must approach its subjects as workers. If it gives the ruling class an advantage that a particular subject is white, he is. If not, it will not protect him.
