      If I had one piece of advice to give leftists it would probably be to stop being obsessed with journalists, podcasters, and celebrities in general. You can engage with these people but stop basing your psyche around how much you hate and/or love them. They're not that important.

      I trace this pathology to Britain, where most horrible things germinate. Around 2010-2012 there was a Brit subculture obsessed with dragging what they called "leftie journos". Mark Fisher wrote about it in an infamous essay. Now that's just left-wing net culture and it sucks.
