I attended a Pentecostal church for a very brief period in middle school. They do Brush Arbor services, a real saturnalia sort of atmosphere of catharsis which opens the space for women to commit horrible acts of violence and boy howdy, you should see them go to town.

I've seen women gleefully incite violence, punks and churchy types alike. A woman's word got a lot of black men lynched. We live in putrid times where people act like animals towards one another and you can't sway them from a sense that retribution sets it right.
