      The loud ones are bullies, their "friends" are toadies. The problem is that as long as they act as the representatives of the left, no substantial left can form at all. Potential allies disengage altogether or pursue other politics.

      The Democrats don't really care, they've all got something lined up if their political careers fizzle and they don't believe in anything in particular. What they *do* know is that the politics of identity oppression is a direct threat to working class politics
