      Have yet to encounter a person who says that they would totally join DSA, pay dues and give a few hours of their week or month to help organize against capitalism if not for the fact that people were asked to hold their applause at a convention that happens every two years

      Where are the would-be organizers alienated by accessibility efforts who would otherwise actually participate? Go start your own socialist organization for people who want to devote their lives to class struggle but also shout loudly at their convention! The more the merrier!

      If your desire to say "guys" without thinking about it is greater than your desire to fight climate change, end mass incarceration, win Medicare for All, organize workers and strengthen unions then sure, don't join DSA! Stay at home and watch cable news and opine from there.
