My prediction is that over the next three years radlibs are going to start shedding some of the more embarrassing aspects of their idpol to focus on their real objective which is to lower first-world wages.

Now, theoretically TWists want to raise the living standards of the majority of the world in return, environmentalists want to "reduce consumption" and radlibs see it in moral terms. But in coalition with capital, all the working class can get is universal poverty.

They're still probably wrong, considering that US workers haven't gotten a raise since 1970 and consume less now than they did then, and a lot of individual emissions are due to commuting which isn't an area where workers are faced with meaningful options
