I guess my one complaint would be level size? As you get closer to the surface the distance between you and the nearest up staircase increases dramatically, though by that point you may well have a working terrain scanner. Or you might be completely naked with a rocket launcher
This game wrecks. I never even got close to beating it, but it's the best example of modern 'full' RL design I can think of
