That might be all it's really for. Which makes it more distressing in a way - since it isn't a set of principles, it doesn't exist in direct opposition to any other set of principles and isn't vulnerable to generalized critique

if there's value in it, i think it comes from the ability to consider not "who at the table has the right to speak" but "who isn't at the table", if that makes sense
