the one thing i'd absolutely love to make a come back, videogame wise, is adventure games with a command line prompt. It's not going to happen but gosh I'd love to have that make a renaissance
Hugo 3 singlehandedly ruined the genre by including a timed prompt and now we have to play various iterations of maple story forever
