One of the strange ways working in AI has influenced me - I now mostly think of my own imagination in terms of featurespace; I relate to my memories as embeddings, and I find the more I read AI research, the more different my perspective on my own imagination becomes.

For instance, I have a couple of friends who read a really vast amount of Lacan and related thinkers. They definitely ended up introspecting themselves and where their thoughts came from via Lacanian analysis, etc.
