iOS app works, but on desktop there’s really no good option except maybe third-party stuff?
-
Or the silliness of using distinct browsers for each account. Firefox is signed in as my company account.
-
Same. I’m not installing a third browser. :)
-
Safari Technology Preview is a great third browser. Or create a web wrapper app specifically for Twitter with Fluid (which uses WebKit) or Coherence (which uses Chrome.) Otherwise both TweetBot and Twitteriffic are rather excellent 3rd party clients.
-
I know about all these options, but seeing them listed out like it’s a reasonable solution made me LOL. You know, the Twitter *ads* interface on the web has a simple account switcher build right in at the top!
-
Yes, it’s so ridiculous to have to hack a method to use someone’s service in a way that is exactly what they want you to do & hugely beneficial to them.
-
I don’t think Twitter is oriented towards users or a business model right now

Your solution to the lack of a Mac app is to use an iOS app?

The shortcut for this is annoying. Double tapping your profile picture should enact the action to change accounts. Not the birdhouse home icon.

Jack, gotta say I’m adding my name to those really unhappy about not having a native macOS app.
