We currently don’t have a *scalable* policy or set of product features around authenticity of content. Account-level policy against impersonation is clearer and more scalable. We need to figure out a scalable and objective way rooted in durable policy to do this long-term.

@jack Why not give a new red tick verification to journo’s who provide credentials? -
Verification symbol isn't going to help. It's dead simple to open up your browser's inspector and modify the text of a tweet, then screenshot it. It's the accounts sharing the faked tweet images that need to be dealt with.

The red marker could be used by Twitter AI to ensure these type of images are not able to be posted. If the red mark is visible, don’t allow reposting.
