This doesn't exactly clarify anything or even give the impression that there is a coherent policy at allhttps://twitter.com/jack/status/936679380817973253 …

@jack It feels like Twitter's policy is broadly that 'anything the president does on the platform is — by nature — extremely newsworthy and so it's highly unlikely that any tweet would be deleted or his account suspended.' is that a fair assessment? -
@jack i hope you'll consider answering. i've studied twitter's rules for the better part of two years now to try to understand their enforcement and the question is in good faith regarding a tricky subj

“We mistakenly made a mistake about the policy we’ve, by our own admission, never looked at critically and that is why we let a racist with millions of followers post snuff videos with misleading titles. No our platform did not affect the election. Byeeeee.”

This is baffling,
@jack. Videos inciting targeted harassment against a religion are okay while random people are being banned for minor offenses? Maybe you should let someone else look at your policies at this point? - 1 more reply

let someone else run this place

Better yet, show some balls and shut down anyone and everyone who advocates hatred and violence. That
@realDonaldTrump or anyone for that matter is allowed these posts is cowardly. Twitter is run by boot-lickers terrified of DT.

The way you deal with these issues is an absolute shambles. Inconsistent policies, claim to not know why you do things, provide incorrect info. You've turned Twitter into a platform of vile hate

It does clarify things. Everytime Trump violates policies, Twitter pauses to rewrite them.

Those videos are only permitted because Trump shared them & you can’t afford losing or infuriating him… Had anyone else shared those videos, Twitter would’ve removed them & deactivated the user’s account… It’s either this, or twitter is a defender of xenophobia…

Twitter is not a government agency. You could make a new policy and post it, and retroactively enforce it. Or reinterpret existing policies for the current situation. It's not like you'd get sued for policing your own platform. This is insane.

Hold on... So snuff videos are permitted on Twitter?

Jack, the policy is hundreds of words. Which specific part of the policy are you talking about? None of your team seems able to tell anyone.

How. So I can post the equivalent nature of content and they will not be removed under our current policy?

It's hilarious you think anyone is buying your policy examination bullshit. You are choosing not to act because the shit show keeps the $ rolling in. Keep sleeping really really comfortably knowing you're actively contributing to the decline of national discourse.
