literally my only talent was being able to think of tweets exactly 140 characters long. i don't know if I will be able to alter this to 280.

It's like going to Cheesecake Factory. Do I wanna order everything? Yes. But do I need to? No. And I don't wanna see other people eating
-
The fact that they’re going to give
@realDonaldTrump 140 more characters should scare everyone. -
Why turn it political
-
Because it’s a free country and this is my social media account where I have the first amendment freedom to talk about whatever I’d like.
-
Stop using that as a safe guard, I'm just saying that this is a funny tweet that's void of any politics, and you had to turn in into that.
-
I don’t have to do anything I don’t want to do. & if you don’t like it. So?
-
She's right though he's one of the select few allowed to tweet at 280 during this beta period.

-
I'm referring to how the original tweet and what she replied with had nothing to do with each other

Why not make it 1000 characters. 2000. 1 million. A blog! Let's stop calling it twitter altogether.
-
Honestly u are worth like 1000 times more than me who am I to tell you what is better. But I love twitter. I don't want to not love it.
-
All I know is I haven't been feeling good about the leader of our country using it to threaten nuclear war. So I'm already sensitive here.

You're trusting the average user to exercise brevity. 280 only works if each 140+ character tweet is of value
-
Assuming average tweet doubles in size, you'll risk people spending same amount of time on Twitter but engaging w/ half as many tweets
-
Worst case scenario is timelinr fatigue as up to 280 characters becomes too cumbersome to scan & scroll (how most read Twitter)
-
Further, expanding to 280 is antithetical to Twitter's live strategy as content must be consumed immediately during live events
-
Dude, I just read your tweets here, and I literally just gave myself a facepalm .
-
Would you like to expand on that sentiment?
-
I found your comments to be so whiny, complaining, ridiculous, that I had to give myself a facepalm.
-
Appreciate your misperception of my tone, would you like to critique the content?
