why are you bowing to censorship. I know it a private company, but wouldnt it be easier to just say "toughen up, it's words"
-
It's not just words. It's a pipeline for credible threats. It's enough noise to drive people off the platform.
-
not even a little bit demonstrable
-
Given that I have personally observed people driven off the platform by hate, your opinion isn't even interesting.
-
you've observed ppl who did not know how the block function works
-
On the contrary, you've failed to understand the volume of traffic that can be generated by BS. The problem is scale.

There are people whose modus operandi it is to find and report any slight by people they disagree with. Twitter needs free speech.
-
Couldnt agree more. Tuning out a topic is one thing. Mass vindictive reporting & automated blocking is total abuse.
-
Twitter is my favorite social media platform. No one wants to type in fear of being mass reported by vindictive people.
-
Mine, too! I wish they would learn this lesson and finally stop the madness!
-
I men actual abuse has to be dealt with but report features are routinely abused.
-
Now "kill all men" is not a threat, but open letters land you on abusive blocklists and idea blacklisting.
