        @IdeaGov @jack actually, to clarify: this isn't a Federal/State's rights thing. Police are a municipal (ie. City) force. Not state.

        @IdeaGov @jack He was. That's because this is a question of Federal/Municipal power and responsibility. The State level has little say.

        @IdeaGov @jack The state (ie. Governor) can call National Guard, but the mayor/local commissioners/police chiefs dictate police policy.
