No business wants to be called "small" (or "big"). Neighborhood businesses may aspire to be global businesses. Shop locally, think globally.

@jack Not everyone starts up wanting to build next global success. Many are happy staying small and making enough cash for a nice lifestyle. -
@Dan_Martin *may* aspire to be global. A neighborhood place is not a small business to their customers, it's just their regular place. -
@jack I completely agree. But that doesn't mean 'small' is a dismissive word. I've spoken to hundreds in my job & the majority use the word.
