Flying to DC for 2 hearings Wednesday with the Senate Intel Committee to share Twitter’s work to protect election integrity, and the House Energy and Commerce Committee to show our commitment to impartiality, transparency, and accountability.

We acknowledge our responsibility, and commit to greater accountability. I plan to share our leanings and the proactive measures we’re taking. We’re going to listen, learn and engage in any practical ideas we hear on how to improve together. Looking forward to the conversation.

We don’t want you or the politically biased academics you hired defining what “health” is. We want to speak freely uncensored and if you keep blocking voices based on your political bias, people will leave.

When are you going to restore Roger Stone's account? Since when does insulting a CNN host justify being banned for life, Jack?

Are we supposed to applaud your censorship, on behalf of the corrupt US government? You have no right deciding who can exercise their Constitutional rights. The whole thing reeks.
-
What is exactly lol-worthy about that tweet? Are you FOR censorship?

How does
@twitter plan to protect the health (as well as the safety and wellbeing) of users when it’s newly self-professed “singular objective” is promoting the health of conversations? -
What are you talking about? You actually believe they are responsible for the health & wellbeing of everyone who Tweets?

NO. Twitter as Public square means that you are forbidden ANY OBJECTIVE regarding conversation. Yr either public square or preferential publisher, w alllllllll the liability that entails. Prefacing the term Public square with "used as a" doesnt alter the Constitutional meaning.
-
Exactly, unless the speech is specifically against the law then it shouldn’t be censored
-
Yeah, against the law. Do you know there are Neofascist marching in Germany? I agree, fix the laws because for me it's unacceptable and also it's against the law in my country to use any Fascist symbols or ideology and Communist too. There should be company policies too though.
-
Why don't you peruse my timeline? I've said
#nopegida since 2015. As for Twitter....it's an American company, subject to our laws, not your wishes. -
Thanks – I looked and will read more. As for Twitter, yes it's subject to American laws but I doubt the laws permit such things like Ku Klux Klan marches or White Supremacist and so on. It just goes under free speech flag what is not, just as violence is not acceptable behaviour.
-
We don't have the same hate speech laws here (tho some shortsighted folks clamor for them) and for that I'm grateful. Since when has restricting expression prevented brutality. On the contrary, restrained expression yields the most brutal regimes. Be well.
-
It's not so much about restricting expression as about preventing promotion, propagation and about educating. :)

You’re in Poland. You’ve had the luxury to not live in Germany where a million migrants just came into your country and committed 1000+ sexual assaults on a single night. Why? Because your people have the balls to stand up to the EU. Yet here you are trying to bring Poland down
