Following up on this with a lot more detail. We don’t shadow ban, and we certainly don’t shadow ban based on political viewpoints. We do rank tweets by default to make Twitter more immediately relevant (which can be flipped off). We’d love to open up how our ranking algorithms make decisions. We’re thinking about how to do that, without informing bad-faith actors how to manipulate our systems to artificially amplify a tweet’s reach into places like replies, trends and search. Might be a way to earn trust.
We want a vibrant and healthy public conversation inclusive of all perspectives, and one that’s immediately relevant and valuable. We’re always listening to the conversation around this, and we commit to participating more fully in it. It’s important to us we get this right.

I have 2 accounts. One is a fan account & I just discuss TV shows. I’ve had that account 2 years longer than this one. That has no ban. This 1 I talk politics & It does have the ban. Seems a little suspicious
