Opt-out is freedom. Opt-in would be more free. **Herding happens when clusters form and favor one side because of technical or UI feature.** Intention is (maybe) the least relevant factor. Implicit and explicit bias have same outcomes.

I take issue with the fact that what you're trying to do is so subjective. People that want to take away speech or define hate speech, always subjective. This provides more potential for abuse than perhaps the issue you're trying to fix.
