How about paying attention to the actual hatred, the actual lies, the actual conspiracy theories and actual calls for violence that you continue to ignore? This would help.

This would help. Also listen to folks who are actually experiencing these issues versus larger platform folks who think everything has improved in four years. The persistent sheltering and protecting of hateful users and serial harassers is a persisting problem.

I’d like to see the ability to flag and remove tweets with false information. Not just in the news context, but bad stats and other information. Once a tweet gets tons of retweets, even if it’s wrong, people are open about not wanting to delete it. Essentially incentivized not to

What I see some people do in that instance is add a tweet with a correction below the tweet with the bad information that went viral, but subsequent tweets in a viral thread often don’t get nearly as much engagement as the original tweet

Think of Twitter as a very large conference. Now: 1. Get rid of all the bots. Every. Last. Bot. Even the cute ones and the useful ones.

2. Now that there's nobody here but us humans, we need a code of conduct for our conference. All the good conferences have them. You need one that scales to a billion or so people speaking multiple languages.

3. Enforce the code of conduct. This would be a combination of algorithms and human moderators.
