Caught Romancing the Stone on cable. One of my most-watched movies of the 1980s (alongside Raiders of the Lost Ark and Mr. Mom). It's been probably 30 years since I'd last seen it; Turner/Douglas are still electric!

Thursday courses do not begin at 10am. They begin at 8am, 9:30am, and 11am and have been that way for years. Not sure why TU chose an arbitrary time that directly conflicts with its own established class schedule. Choosing 9:30am or 11am would have been less disruptive.

The central thesis here is that the episode and show are "empty." The cynicism of such a claim is surpassed only by the irony of the writer calling the show "rote" while relying on the cliché of using "empty" as if that connotes good criticism. Yeesh.
