Snowblower and no snow days. Montanans get ‘em to work.

Message for you who moved to Montana after seeing those gorgeous scenes watching Yellowstone. This is a snowblower. I'll bet you wish you had one about now since it's Dec. 1 and we just had our 4th snowstorm. I'll sell you mine for $75k. Another $3k for my snow-worn carhartts.

The hustle culture hits hard. Just had a pant of regret that I won’t have used my sickbed time as efficiently as I could have. No great novels written. No new languages learned. What a layabout am I.
Sorry, the only time I use Spotify is to put on awkward themed mixes when my in-laws come over. I buy records.
🚨Come work with me🚨 We at the are aggressively expanding in North America and, in the coming weeks, I will be hiring for a LOT of roles. So, if you’re a writer, editor, home page/ social producer designer - send me your stuff and reach out. (DM or LinkedIn) Pls RT

Wow, that Paxlovid mouth thing is real. Unless I’ve been sucking on a bunch of pennies but don’t remember.

One doesn’t just REMOVE a Hamm’s sign in Chicago. That’s like taking down a schlitz globe. It’s architecture.

Putting aside the issue at hand here for a second, one incredible thing I learned while reporting this was that Archie's is the top seller of 12oz Hamm's cans in the entire US. The bar sold around 50k in both 2018 & 2019, and is at almost 40k this year @BlockClubCHI twitter.com/BlockClubCHI/s…

It’s not the coughing so much as the fact I can’t sit or lie down without coughing. (So tired)
Praise for my chapbook: “Sonically attuned to the inextricable links btwn. humans & the world they inhabit, these poems are a bellwether, timeless & timely, offering, w/ a convincing dose of hope, both “a warning [and] a watch” for our imperiled moment.” –Lisa Russ Spaar (seebio)

I don’t use my kitchen marble slab enough. Anyone got ideas? Could I make peanut brittle on it? It’s like the size of a large cutting board.
40 mph winds on the warmest day of the month (and foreseeable future). Guess those Christmas lights ain’t getting on the roof this year!
Fun fact: I live in the largest city in Montana (230K or so) and it takes a solid 7 days for anything to reach me by mail. Amazon, Gap, general packages from small biz —- that’ll be 7 days. Even with Prime and Priority Mail and whatever.
Do the menfolk get included in your house? Dang skippy they do in MINE, though not when I grew up.

There's a photo of my Granny Holub that I keep losing. I don't carry it around. I recently even put it in a small frame so it wouldn't get messy, and yet....it wanders.

You know you're a poet when you're wistful about the amount of down time Dr. Zhivago had to write all that poetry during the Russian Revolution.

Or does this mean I “have trouble following through” or something? I tend to take on a lot, only to find that when I spend “all day” doing cleaning, organizing, what have you, it doesn’t feel done. Only shuffled around. Anyone else feel this way and make a change?

I am a generally messy person. I always say “I’m a piler, not a filer.” Because I generally need things “out” to remember about them. I also get kind of overwhelmed with “want to” tasks/dreams/thoughts and then nothing happens. Does this point to ADD? (1/2)
