You can’t possibly understand and have a real conversation about race if it’s only white people talking to each other. If you can only understand a message coming from a white person that’s a problem in itself.
POC Students never had the luxury to be provided spaces to learn about the reality of the world. No one held my hand learning about the various forms of racism. Tell them to take a damn African American Studies course and actually make an effort.

Yes, important to also provide these spaces for POC. But I'm glad they're doing this. Important dismantling work. Need accountability to POC, which they may have set up. Wish more schools would do this. It's so much better than what so many do-deny or bullshit cosmetic stuff.
