@iwelsh My heart is with Ukrainians who want greater economic choices and respectable leadership, but that doesn't mean I have to be naive. -
@ivovic I don't think they're going to get it. But if I were a Western Ukrainian I would probably have supported the revolution. -
@iwelsh Nobody ever gets great political leadership. At least, not for very long. -
@ivovic I don't think they'll even get decent. IMF reforms will be brutal, they virtually always are. Bankrupt countries get fucked. -
@iwelsh As you allude to, there's a chance that Ukraine's strategic value will earn them a genuine prop-up for reasons of open alliance. -
