    The lion's share of the sunshine away from eastern areas today and tomorrow thanks to an onshore breeze blowing in cloud in from the North Sea. Feeling pleasant in the west with highs reaching the low teens. Becky x

    Rain will likely reach the north coast of mainland Scotland around late am on Easter Sunday. It will then move south throughout the day, likely clearing the south coast early on Monday am. So decent weather for Easter Sunday for many before turning cold & wintry from Monday.

    Did you know... the March temperature record is 25.6C set in Cambridge in 1968. On Tuesday and Wednesday next week, it will be noticeably warmer for everyone but temperatures across the south east could even challenge that March record! Yes I know, hard to keep up!!!

    No your eyes are not deceiving you... you really can see a 25C on the outlook chart! After a wild weekend for many, the cold airflow from the north west gets closed off and replaced by warm tropical maritime air from the south. Becky x

    Air behind a front is always a lower temperature than that which it's replacing, and it'll feel much colder tomorrow. Also, the triangles on a cold front (and semi circles on a warm front) always point in the direction it's moving 🤓
