The minimum wage in my province in Canada doesn't even reach 15 CAD, which is about 11.5 USD and people want the US minimum wage to be 15 USD. The cost of living in certain cities of my province is about equal to that of some expensive ones in the US, so this just doesn't add up.

If our wages are higher they can tax us more. They’re gonna raise it to $15 and most of us won’t even see the difference.
