I don’t think deleting takes the strike off. I think I read that when I started getting those notifications for claims even though they didn’t give me a strike.

It has nothing to do with channel stats. The article and sources claim it’s due to YouTube’s change in policy for content. If you are viewed as a liability that could potentially bring back the adpocplyspe basically, you need to go.

There was a lot of accidental demonetizations though and the algorithm still isn’t 100% so it shouldn’t be based on that
