🤬 How are we still at a point in time when women have to defend how they look when they're doing their jobs?

Last year we got a load of abuse when we added the rainbow flag to our profile picture. We don't think homophobic abuse is acceptable and we stand with all those LGBT+ people we serve and employ 🏳️‍🌈 Thanks for the comments... 👍

The scandal is that the very best paid over £125k a year get a subsidy of 82%, the better off over £50k get 67% subsidy, average paid above £12.5k get 25% subsidy, and the poorest paid below £12.5k in the wrong scheme get 0%. NB between £100k and £125k get 150% subsidy.

Apparently people are staying away from Chinatown in London because they think they’ll catch the corona virus. What idiots! I’m looking forward to an excellent meal there tonight at my usual place.

Baffling that Jobcentre advisers don't have benefit calculator + debt repayment affordability tool. No financial institution would be allowed to drag people into debt & set repayments with no affordability assessment, so why does the government?

This looks small but it goes deeper. My mum didn’t speak Arabic to my sisters and I growing up because of this, and her experiences of racism. She didn’t want us to feel different We missed out on speaking a beautiful 2nd language. It’s sad that we’ve not moved past this bigotry

90% of single parents are women. The , benefits cuts, unstable employment & 10yrs of brutal have created a situation where only those with the highest wages or the longest hours can get by. means children grow up in poverty.
