It only makes sense to leave a dream job for a dream job, and I am *beyond* excited to tell you where I’m heading next very soon. (I’ll make sure any ongoing Edge projects smoothly transition to the next head honcho – so don’t worry if we’ve been working on something together!)

To @crinolinerobot – I am so grateful for all your ultra-dedicated work on even the most hectic of deadlines, all the encouraging words and of course the recipe recommendations.

To @andrewphind – it was always a dream of mine to be able to work with you, but you know this. You’re the most brilliant designer I know, and I will desperately miss the creative back-and-forth between us that produces those eureka moments!

To @schillingc – I could not have asked for a better co-pilot or friend in this, the hellyear that is 2020. You’re already the most talented critic in the industry, and you’ve stepped up to huge new challenges this year and smashed them all. You are unstoppable.

To @nathan_brown – thanks for everything. Edge ‘til I die.

Cheers to my extended family of freelancers, who are a lovely lot and supremely good at what they do. Shoutout to all the patient PRs, and to all the inspiring developers who have ever given up their time to answer my wide-eyed questions or to help us make something special.

And lastly to all the readers: your kind, funny and heartfelt messages, tweets and letters this year have meant the absolute world. Thank you for all the support – I hope I did you proud. Right, I’m off to have a coffee and a little cry.
