Anomalies in AC: Valhalla are so cool! The fact I can be a modern age woman living the memories of a Viking male exploring old age England whilst hopping across holographic platforms to collect data fragments without feeling completely out of place is why I love this franchise.

I’m all for content that breaks things up a little. I’m mostly impressed that these ones make sense in the game world despite being so visually and objectively unique

Tbh I couldn't disagree more
I find them massively jarring narratively, and pretty dull in terms of gameplay. The platforming element of AC isn't that exciting so distilling it down to "pure" platforming without it being wrapped up in the setting doesn't do it for me. -
It's only those and the "chase the note" ones that do my head in. Love the rest of the little side activities.
