Honestly, I feel kind of selfish saying this, but lockdown has given me something I've found myself chasing for years - time. Time to slow down. Time to reconnect with nature. Time to play the games I've been meaning to play. Time with my partner. Time with myself.
I've spent the past few years having to rush constantly in almost every aspect of my life with little respite. It's a horrible circumstance that's gifted me the time I didn't even know I needed for myself, but I feel revitalised and more myself than I have felt for a long time.
Still, my heart aches for everyone who has been affected by what's happening in the world. That said, my little bubble is pretty good, and honestly, just finding a positive in all of this is the best any of us can wish for. Stay safe folks <3
I feel this too matey. I feel guilty but I think this time has also given lots of people time to reflect and reset themselves and their priorities (speaking for myself there). I know I'll be doing things differently once this is over.
