Jedi: Fallen Order is incredible. It borrows a lot from so many other incredible games but ties them together in a fantastic package that is pure joy from end to end. It also has plenty of Respawn's player traversal magic that never fails to impress me. Easily my GOTY for 2019!
Also has some incredible examples of Level Design. Most notably for me are the Zeffo Temples, each of which are greatly designed to teach you how to use Cal's abilities and offer enough opportunities for experimentation with the new abilities you unlock as you progress.

Hey man! It gets better and better. First game in a long time that I've not been able to put down! Also has one of the best 3D Area Maps I've ever seen in a game, too. Brilliantly concise and easily readable at quick glances!
I just finished it last week and bloody loved it, so much so I went and got the 1000g for it 
To me it felt very tomb raider/ uncharted whilst keeping the Star Wars feeling 
Definitely! With a bit of the "souls" games thrown in for good measure. Just rolled credits and my god the ending was phenomenal!
I haven't played Fallen Order yet but I like Star Wars, Souls and Respawn so it definitely appeals. Not everyone was so impressed though. I did wonder if the Star Wars effect made people forgive its shortcomings. Sekiro is my GOTY. As another Souls-like game, how does it compare?
I haven't played Sekiro yet (it's on my to do list), but from my experience with other Souls games I'd say that Jedi has a much more forgiving combat system than most others in the genre. Far more traversal options than most, though. Level design is solid!
I'm quite enjoying it but I really don't like Cal at all which is stopping me getting into the story a bit. Gameplay wise though it's great! Did you play control last year??
Ah that's a shame! I wasn't sure at first either but he grew on me by the end of the game, certainly in the latter third. I didn't play Control, no! It's next on my list to play, though!
