I hadn’t bought any of the expansions for Destiny 2 and recently worked my way through all 3, they definitely progress as you work through them - prepare for Forsaken! 
Been getting back into Destiny over the past week again. Hadn't played it since January. New weapons system is a welcome change, and marries the destiny 1 loadout nicely with what D2 had at launch. Finished the Curse of Osiris expansion tonight with @DannyWGameDev. Warmind next!
