Need this. Not having the time or skill to really make my games look polished in the popular sense is always a worry of mine in the back of y head when I'm putting out a game

I'm ashamed I read that and wondered what the Polish had anything to do with game development why their exclusion meant I'd still like the game. Fuck me. I need sleep.

Yeah I 100% thought it was about language options.

Honestly, it's fun sitting down with developers during EGX Rezzed and playing their game while also discovering bugs, glitches and so on. You see them jump at the chance to quickly fix some code or begin debugging. It makes game development feel lively.

That’s what I always tend to do on games events. But players keep coming and I have to switch back to a glitchy build. Last time it crashed when player died. So I told him while relaunching the game: - Your job is not to crash it. Don’t die this time, OK?

I really don't think a lot of people are saying that they shouldn't. What most people are upset about are *broken* games sold at $60 that never get fixed.

Simple graphics can carry a game if the overall gameplay picks up the slack. ZZT is one of my all-time favorite games and it shows. Old PC game, using ASCII graphics, but mannnn it's a fun adventure regardless. Simple graphics =/= bad games. Not everyone's an artist.

Zzt! My start to gaming. Tim Sweeney is a nice guy too.

For a moment I thought this was talking about a game missing Polish people or items... glad to see that's not the case
