Theres also a Kubernetes Developer certification in the works (by CNCF, a Linux Foundation sub). Not sure how I feel about it

I know. I have yet to find anyone in the community supportive of it. I know several who are vocal against it

I used to work with LF... I think their donors ask for this. The donors hire lots of devs. LF doesn't screw over small agencies and they price reasonably. Unlike some corps that do this to compete against their own community. I generally don't like certs but think they are ok.
