i think that when you do this you should be able to run to your router fast enough to unplug it from the wall before the packets get out of your house
on zoom at 12:09am because half an hour ago i accidentally merged master into a non master remote branch and cc’d 30 teams and now there are 2 whole people on call in singapore trying to fix this

Ugh that sucks. When I last did something similar it was a bit of a pain to undo. To make things worse, people had pulled my dumb merge commit into their local repos and kept pushing my mistake back out to the server. Had to fix it 3 times.
