damn i thought this was just me.
a thing i highly recommend if you feel safe doing so is grabbing an ebike and putting on some stupidly cinematic music and biking thru the city at 20mph in the middle of the night no helmet on. preferably 1am or later

I highly recommend living in Amsterdam for a length of time. Unmatched safety and beauty for bike ride - what you have described is the usual evening commute home. The major downside of wfh is not doing this enough.
